Duddon Fell Race (Cumbria) – May 30th

News
Trip to the Duddon Fell Race.
Last year we revived an old club tradition to make a trip to a classic fell race. Five club members made a very enjoyable trip to Coniston and this year we hope to take a larger contingent to the Duddon fell race near Seathwaite, Cumbria. The race, held on Saturday 30th May, is 29km with 1830 metres of climb, this year it is a counter in the English Championship and pre entry is required. (www.duddonvalleyfellrace.org.uk).
For the elderly and infirm there is also a short race of 15.3 km, this can be entered on the day.
If there is enough interest we will hire a mini bus and aim to stay in bunkhouse accommodation the night before the race.
If you are interested please let Patrick or Tom know before the end of March so that transport and accommodation can be arranged.
