Four Crofters ran the Saturday 10k (Frank reckons it was well over 10k, and hilly!) trail run, which was won in 47.46. Ashley R had a great race, 13th out of 51 runners, 1st MV65, in 59.27. Sue, still regaining her peak fitness, was 20th overall, 3rd lady and 1st FV50 (62.31), leaving Frank (64.11) in her wake. He was 1st MV55. Tom, pushed into 2nd MV65 place by Ashley, finished in 71.39. Tom was the only runner hardy enough to tackle the Sunday 10k as well, taking just 2 minutes longer. He was rewarded with being 1st MV65 in the combined results.
The Garys were brave enough to tackle the half marathon on the Saturday. The winner crossed the line in 1.23.13, with Gary P finishing 23rd in 1.49.04, ahead of Gary G (2.17.30), in 56th place out of 83 runners.

Gar G did start the Sunday half marathon but had an accident during the run leaving him with injured ribs which obviously put him out of the race. I'm sure you will join me in wishing Gary a very speedy recovery.
