Titterstone Clee Hill race

Race Reports

Whereas some ran a chilly parkrun on the Saturday morning, and others saved themselves for the rigours of Presteigne the next day, the Pearson brothers took on Clee Hill, running the mile and a bit uphill to the summit (from Cleeton St Mary) and back down. With a relatively small turnout of 36 runners, Lloyd Taggart came first in 19.05, no doubt saving himself for the Long Mynd Valleys the following day! Patrick was the first Croft runner (11th, 24.19) just ahead of Toby (U/A, in 24.32), with Gary 13th, in 25.55. Even if they didn’t have snow to contend with, it must have been very wet in places, as well as very rocky – as always!
