Gary again finished in the hands of the paramedics with a nasty fall 200 metres from the finish. News

Fell runners brave all weathers – a record turn-out of 110 runners, in rain which was sometimes light, sometimes heavy, took on the 4.9 mile All Stretton fell race, Steve Cale returned to win in 27.02 rom Tim Werrett, and Ruth (2nd SL in 36.04) had a very good run, overhauling Gary (1st over 65) and beating him by 40 seconds. I came in nearly 2 minutes later, just ahead of the 2nd over 60 (as Gary beat the 1st over 60).
