Mist and low cloud were the main hazards, but the marker flags were fortunately close enough together to stop me getting lost this time! Steve Cale won in 41.42, closely pursued by Tim Werrett. Tom and I gave them time to shower and change before we crossed the line – I was 50th (59.41) and Tom 69th (66.17), out of 86 starters.
