Discussion took place about the organisation of the Shobdon Wood race: some wondered whether we needed to continue. It was eventually decided to continue, with a list of jobs to be delegated. It was regretted that no-one had come forward to take on the organisation, but it was hoped that a solution would be found.
Since the first club committee meeting was held on Dec 1st, 1983, Tom suggested organising a run from Croft Castle to Ludlow along the Mortimer Way starting 13.30 on Sat Dec 1st.
Croft Castle cross country – Nov 11th. A lot of work goes into putting on the race – any members who can help, before the day, or on the day before, during or after the race, should contact Mike, Dave A or Neil P. We all enjoy our running, but someone has to put in the work to make it possible.
Croft woods handicap race: because of failing light, the first runner will leave promptly at 6.45. If you arrive after your scheduled departure time, you can still run but will lose your calculated ‘handicap’. There are too many runners for Mike to make last minute re-calculations.
