Pembrokeshire fell race – Simon

News
Well, what better way to spend Mrs N’s Birthday and a bank holiday than a fell race for us both to do whilst on holiday on the beautiful Pembrokeshire coast – our second home!!
Located near Fishguard on the Pembrokeshire coastal path, all 60 runners were led out by a 14 year old cheeky youngster, this kid was so strong; I pushed my way up from 5th to 2nd behind this lad who kept pushing; it was only when we got to the climbing I finally broke him but then to my surprise he kept pushing me, a 14 year old! I got away and led to the bottom of the descent then through a gate, but the 3rd placed man came from nowhere and pushed me to the line and pushing me into 2nd in a time of 34.03 but I got the vet prize, more wine for Beth and of course her birthday!! Beth also did well finishing 2nd in her age group and another bottle !!!
My personal record is still intact, where every race including Triathlons since August last year, excluding league, I’ve finished on the Podium, how long can I keep this going???
