The second Elan valley 10 mile race

News

This certainly is a tough little course, with plenty of undulations, but we had much better weather than last year, which enabled all runners to at least enjoy the wonderful scenery on offer.
Despite an attempt to disrupt the race by a couple of local farmers (and their cattle), which cost the leaders 30 secs, Jamie Loxham managed to pull away again, to win comfortably in 57:08, I managed to dodge the farmers to finish 5th in 60:39, a minute quicker than last year.
104 runners finished.
