A message from Rachel:
I’m probably running behind everyone else – as usual- but I picked up a couple of ticks on my run last week and had the dubious pleasure of having to remove the little blighters from my leg when I got home.
I regularly check for hitchhikers after each run and this is the first time I have found any.
My route took me through Ladymeadow wood, over the Ambrey and along the back track to Whiteway Head (where I found them as I was stretching).
I just thought I should let everyone know, in case you have been lucky, as I have, and not had this delightful experience yet!
