35 Crofties from right across the club gave their all on the first running of the High Vinnalls Up-hill
Time Trial on Thursday 1 st August, a run of 2.4Km with 140m of ascent up to the summit view point.
The route is accessible to the whole club, short enough with an even gradient suitable for juniors
and newer runners, but sharp enough to provide a stern test for those more experienced. A bright if
slightly humid evening after a few heavy showers in the afternoon gave excellent running conditions.
Runners were set off two at a time every 30 seconds, so everyone generally had someone to run
with at the start and targets ahead to chase down.
